In particular fall safety training can help construction workers identify and avoid unsafe conditions and dangerous situations. Other safety trainings can include material handling, crane training and crane safety.

It is important that construction workers know the hazards involved in each job, from the very smallest to the especially large. Construction safety courses should include safety training in rigging supplies and crane certification. Typically crane operators are certified to operate the heavy equipment. However, accidents can happen to even the most experienced crane operators, due to failed rigging or failed rigging hardware.
