Personal experience is imperative for organisations that hope to prosper in our current society. Workplace diversity has become more and more pertinent. Social changes have caused companies to ignore diversity and inclusion at work. With demographics becoming ever more ethically diverse and an increasing trend towards earlier retirement age and our population has never been more diversifiable. Companies who are focused to fostering diversity within the workplace have shown to be more profitable. The majority of people don’t view diversity like they imagine individuals. There are many ways to be married or an army status. Genuine diversity policies include each characteristic. Citizenship status and education are other ways that people can be different. Together, these aspects require that businesses take diversity very seriously. Businesses can accomplish this goal in numerous ways.
